The very best of Broadway’s talent is on display each summer in the astonishingly lavish productions created by Music Theatre of Wichita. From June 9 through August 8 of 2010, five all-new Broadway-scale productions will be presented inside beautiful Century II Concert Hall, in the heart of downtown Wichita.
Chosen by the American Bus Association as one of the Top 100 Must-See Events in North America this year, MTWichita presents Broadway stars of today and tomorrow – at a fraction of Broadway prices. Each show includes performers from New York and Hollywood, working hand in hand with gifted Midwestern artists to create fully orchestrated, excitingly staged musical shows – which can only be seen here in Wichita.
Internationally acclaimed for its excellence, MTWichita has created world premieres and cast albums. Former MTWichita alumni are seen in almost every Broadway musical currently playing and most national tours. These talented alums include Kelli O’Hara (South Pacific), Matt Bogart (Jersey Boys) and Emmy and Tony-winner Kristin Chenoweth (Wicked).
